It will hold a lot of books well enough, but starts hurting the shoulder after a long walk from the car to class. Durable and big- so that's a plus.

This item was just what I was looking for. I'm using it for work and it gives me enough space for my purse, lunch, water bottle and portfolio as well as ample storage compartments. Not too many though. I find that some bags offer too much in the way of individual compartments... at least for my needs. I needed something simple, spacious and easy to carry. This was just right.
